Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to design develop and maintain robust identity solutions. As an engineer youll focus on crafting high-quality software that powers our IAM infrastructure with an emphasis on code quality performance and scalability.
Key job responsibilities
1- Software Development
- Design develop and maintain scalable IAM software solutions
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code
- Implement complex authentication and authorization flows
- Develop RESTful APIs for identity services
- Create and maintain microservices for identity management
- Optimize software performance and resolve complex technical issues
2- IAM Feature Implementation
- Develop new features for authentication authorization and user management systems
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
- Create user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows
- Develop integrations with third-party identity providers and services
3- Testing and Quality Assurance
- Write and maintain unit tests integration tests and end-to-end tests
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices
- Implement automated testing strategies for IAM components
- Conduct performance testing and optimization
4- DevOps and Continuous Integration
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for IAM software deployment
- Containerize applications and services using Docker
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure for IAM services
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for IAM software
5 - Security Implementation
- Implement secure coding practices
- Develop software solutions that adhere to security standards and compliance requirements
- Assist in security assessments and remediation efforts
- Implement encryption and key management solutions
- Experience in automating deploying and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with distributed systems at scale

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
