Job Description
Brief Overview of Position:
Strategic Operational Solutions Inc. (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for Computer Network Support Specialist roles to support the United States Air Force (USAF) client where we are focused on delivering support to enable and maintain U.S. military with IT support services. Positions require onsite support at Joint Base Charleston SC.
Description of Duties:
- Analyze test troubleshoot and evaluate existing network systems such as local area network (LAN) wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems or a segment of a network system
- Support planning of IT equipment replacement (including technology refresh planning) software updates and hardware updates/replacement/addition with unit leadership
- Create manage and maintain grant/deny/remove user access and close user group and local e-mail and network accounts as needed for NIPR/SIPR access in accordance with locally established processes
Education Experience and Security Requirements:
- Possess up to three (3) years experience in Computer Science or related field
- Possess 8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M - at a minimum of CompTIA Security
- Possess Secret security clearance
