Avionics Technical Instructor for Bell Training Academy
Bring your experience as an electrical/avionics technician with a high degree of knowledge maintaining aircraft electrical avionics and autopilot systems.
Youll have experience maintaining but not limited to the following systems: GPS VOR/ILS Altimeters Transponders Marker Beacon Pitot Static Systems VHF communication radios Intercom systems hydraulics fuel powerplant and transmission indicating systems.
This role will be an integral part of the team working closely with customers and fellow instructors.
This role will be onsite in Fort Worth Texas.
What youll be doing as an Avionics Instructor:
Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to the customers.
Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly appearance.
Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers develop a rapport with the customer base to include US based and international customers.
Work with the Training Support Development team to update courseware or build courseware as needed.
Travel required to present aircraft courses both in the US and Internationally.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Self-starter outgoing people person with great presentation skills.
Skilled at using MS Office software.
Ability to prioritize work strong customer comes first attitude and a positive team player.
Excellent communicator that must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and brief leaders/peers.
What you need to be successful:
Must possess an FCC General Radio Telephone license or Airframe certificate
At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting avionics electrical and autopilot systems on helicopters or fixed wing aircraft.
Bachelors degree preferred with a Major in any Aeronautical/Engineering/Manufacturing related field but not required (High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience may be considered equivalent).
