Job Description
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES : Community College teaching experience in ESL reading writing grammar conversation listening and speaking. VESL experience in English for Computers ECE Math and/or Employment also desirable.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : The successful candidate by the final filing date must possess the minimum qualifications for instructors in English at California Community Colleges: Masters in TESL TESOL applied linguistics with a TESL emphasis linguistics with a TESL emphasis English with a TESL emphasis or education with a TESL emphasis OR Bachelors in TESL TESOL English with a TESL certificate linguistics with a TESL certificate applied linguistics with a TESL certificate or any foreign language with a TESL certificate AND Masters in linguistics applied linguistics English composition bilingual/bicultural studies reading speech or any foreign language OR Possess a California Community College life credential in the subject matter area of English OR The equivalent EQUIVALENCY REQUIREMENT : All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date. Alternatively applicants must have obtained an equivalency determination from the District before the publication of the Recruitment Announcement.
