Job Description

Equipment Operator II - Solid Waste

Schedule is four 10-hour days

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Scheduled days are to be determined

Skilled Manual labor involving a variety of duties associated with Reno County Solid Waste Management Department.

Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the attached job description are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 9th grade education.
Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any certification and licensing requirements relative to the position.

Certifications / Licenses:

Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas drivers license when reporting for duty.
Ability to obtain a class B-CDL drivers license if requested by the Solid Waste Director.
