What You Will Do:
Grit Blast (using manual Grit Blasting machines) clean and/or chemically remove coating and/or plasma spray from components
Visually inspect parts for signs of acid effectiveness
Maintain supply of materials on hand
Perform preventative maintenance as needed Operate Waterjet
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Ensure all environment health and safety rules requirements and procedures are adhered to
Maintain solution levels and mix solutions in tanks as required
Dispose of waste solutions per SOP requirements
Perform other duties as required to support company objectives
Must complete OJT operator training
The person in this role may be required to train on first shift for up to six months before moving into the intended shift (2nd shift). The typical work schedule will be 3:00pm 1:00am Monday Thursday (4x10 2nd shift schedule)
Qualifications You Must Have
High School Diploma GED or Technical School Training
Ability to read liquid measurement and other physical inspection tools
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.
Qualifications We Prefer
Turbine engine component Grit Blasting experience
Familiarity with abrasive media and material mixtures
Familiar with inspection and measurement instruments and tools
Experience in Aerospace manufacturing or the Aftermarket MRO industry
Good knowledge of manufacturing safety culture techniques shop practices product / processes technologies and procedures.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
