We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth TX.
Aircraft Environmental Control System Engineers (across multiple levels)
What youll be doing as an Environmental Control System Engineer:
- Identify and document component & system requirements create system specifications and statements of work and coordinate system interfaces.
- Conduct thermal analysis and develop design solutions for ECS systems and integrate these designs into the aircraft.
- Work closely with other teams to complete design trade studies to optimize the system key performance parameters.
- Manage component supplier activities to include design documentation and qualification.
- Support aircraft flight test activities with troubleshooting data reduction and creation of test reports.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
- Solid understanding of the relationship between requirements design solutions and successful qualification.
- Ability to prioritize workstrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
- Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers internal and external suppliers and brief leaders/customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
What you need to be successful:
- At least 2 years of previous work experience performing thermal analysis of fluid systems.
- Bachelors degree with a Major in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
- Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered
Youll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule
