The Role
Based at our Vancouver office the Systems Administrator QMSwill play a key role in implementing maintaining and enhancing QMS LIMS and SPC systems. This role ensures the long-term effectiveness of these systems and supports their daily operation within the Quality department. Responsibilities include user management system configuration and ongoing optimization.
- Conduct user training and provide basic troubleshooting for QMS LIMS and SPC systems.
- Design and implement system reports modules and functionality improvements.
- Collaborate with Quality and IT teams on system implementation upgrades and maintenance.
- Manage statistical quality control software for data analysis charting and trending.
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Food Science or a related fieldor equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing quality systems in the food and beverage industry.
- Proficiency with QMS and LIMS software (e.g. ETQ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. TTB FDA EPA) is preferred.
- Familiarity with HACCP GMP FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 standards.

Thetypical hiring range for this position is $60000 - $72000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge skills experience and education.
