The Bureau of Health Improvement and Wellness (BHIW) is comprised of programs which address prevention and improved health outcomes for Ohioans across the lifespan. BHIW includes programs that address chronic diseases prevent and reduce injuries promote access to health care and reduce health disparities. Program initiatives include the promotion of healthy eating and active living as well as the prevention of chronic diseases tobacco use child injuries sexual assault domestic violence and drug overdoses.
What Youll Do:
The Bureau of Health Improvement and Wellness (BHIW) is seeking a dedicated Epidemiology Investigation Supervisor to plan implement and manage comprehensive statewide epidemiological surveillance programs/systems for the Violence & Injury Prevention Section.

Unless required by legislation the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 14 Step 1 of the Exempt Pay Range Schedule ($37.53 per hour) with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($39.67) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter
