Job Description
Key job responsibilities
- Support and maintain retail endpoint devices integrated with Linux systems in AWS
- Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems
- Develop and implement solutions for retail endpoint devices particularly scales and printers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise (AWS and on-prem) server solutions and retail devices
- Contribute to DevOps practices and release management for production environments
-experience with Linux primarily Red Hat Linux
- experience as a DevOps engineer releasing to production environments
- experience with Bash and Python scripting
- experience with AWS console access
- Proficiency in Red Hat CentOS and Ubuntu Linux operating systems
- Experience with Bizerba and Mettler Toledo hardware and software
- Familiarity with endpoint devices for retail operations such as scales and printers
-experience with Mettler Toledo / Bizerba systems
- retail endpoint experience
- Experience with device engineering including printers and control systems
- Strong understanding of integration between enterprise server solutions and retail devices
