Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Synthetic Monitoring Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AppDynamics and Splunk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing synthetic monitoring solutions to ensure application availability performance and user experience across key digital Responsibilities:Design implement and maintain synthetic monitoring scripts using AppDynamics Synthetic Monitoring or equivalent proactive monitoring dashboards and alerts for application health and Splunk for log analysis correlation and root cause with application infrastructure and DevOps teams to optimize monitoring strategies and incident real-time dashboards and alerts for key application performance runbooks and documentation for synthetic monitoring processes and escalation optimize synthetic journeys to reflect real user behavior and business critical health checks and gap analysis in the existing monitoring setup and provide Skills:3 to 5 years of experience in application performance monitoring with experience with Splunk for log monitoring custom dashboards and understanding of synthetic monitoring techniques and with scripting (e.g. JavaScript Python Selenium etc.) for synthetic test knowledge of web technologies APIs and distributed with CI/CD pipelines and integrating monitoring into DevOps troubleshooting and analytical to Have:Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure).Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
