CNA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential care and support to patients ensuring their comfort safety and well-being under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding

• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure)

• Assist with mobility including turning positioning and transferring patients

• Report changes in patients physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff

• Maintain a clean safe and supportive environment for patients

• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided and patient status

• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times

• Work collaboratively with nurses doctors and other healthcare staff

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in NY

• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on employer)

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate patient and dependable

• Ability to lift/move and perform physical tasks as required

• May include hospitals nursing homes assisted living facilities or private homes

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods

• May involve exposure to bodily fluids infectious diseases and varying patient behaviors
