Description
The Data Migration Specialist HR Systems will play a pivotal role in the successful transition of HR-related data from legacy systems to new platforms within the public sector framework. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and deep understanding of human resources processes to ensure a seamless and accurate data migration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in data migration particularly in HR systems and will demonstrate strong analytical skills along with an ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate plan and execute data migration strategies for HR systems.
- Coordinate with HR teams to understand data requirements and business processes.
- Perform data mapping and transformation to meet system specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure data integrity before and after migration.
- Document migration processes and create user manuals for reference.
- Provide training and support to staff on new HR systems post-migration.
- Monitor the performance of the migration process and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Commerce Technology or a relevant field . . . or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in data migration specifically within HR systems.
- Strong understanding of data management and migration tools.
- Proficient in data analysis and manipulation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with public sector HR practices is a plus.
