Plant Manager
This position is responsible for the successful overall operational and financial performance of a manufacturing site with emphasis on the achievement of annual financial targets and strategies that ensure a safe work environment consistent achievement of customer quality specifications consistent achievement of scheduled daily production volumes 100% on-time delivery and minimal inventory.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for establishing an annual operating/financial budget aligned with the overall Corporate Strategic goals including the detailed action plans to achieve/exceed the budget.
- Establish individual Business Unit Action Plans to achieve targeted annual performance metrics -aligned to the monthly metric review and the annual operating/financial budget.
- Establish individual Functional Department strategies to achieve targeted annual performance metrics for the plant -aligned to the monthly metric review and the annual operating/financial budget.
- Maintain a work environment in which Safety and Health of all employees is paramount and all regulatory requirements are met or surpassed.
- Ensure/oversee the effective execution of recruiting selection on-boarding and training process for new staff members.
- Establish robust plant-wide communication reward and recognition programs that aid in creating a climate of engagement and motivation for all employees in the facility.
- Ensure that Company-sponsored (Corporate) quality assurance systems are properly employed and timely corrective actions are taken to consistently meet required product specifications.
- Coach counsel and develop direct report to exceptional performance mastery of current roles and preparation for greater responsibilities.
- Effectively monitor the operational and financial performance of the plant by taking timely corrective action to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Ensure that all Corporate/Company-Wide Policies and Practices are implemented effectively within the plant. Provide input to Corporate/Company-Wide Policies and Practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Technical Degree is preferred but not required)
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Five (5) to ten (10) year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing knowledge of equipment tooling processes and quality systems.
- Experience in Production control Quality Manufacturing and Tool Engineering
- Knowledge of Automotive OEM system process and documentation requirements.
