Our client a well-respected accountancy firm based in Kettering is seeking a talented Audit and Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers an annual salary between 32000 and 38000 depending on experience with quick salary progression
Your Role As an Audit and Accounts Senior you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include
- Conducting comprehensive audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Preparing detailed audit plans and executing fieldwork according to the audit schedule
- Reviewing and preparing financial statements and related reports
- Providing insightful recommendations to enhance accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business environment and offering expert financial guidance
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff throughout the audit process
About You We are looking for candidates with
- A minimum of 2 years experience in audit or accountancy roles in a UK Accountancy Practice
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
