Job Purpose
The R&D Technical Activation and Specific Management Scientist Role will be responsible for supporting both the PC NA Activation and the NA Specification Management teams. The NA Technical Activation team helps to land and communicate new technologies and scan the competitive landscape for the business. In the NA Activation role the scientist will be working cross-functionally in gathering information about new launches and technologies planning and executing new demos helping create and execute multi-media assets for technology activation with internal sales and marketing teams and external derms influencers and customers among others.
The Specification Management Team (SMT) brings data together from numerous sources and translates that into clear and defined written specifications in the SAP Product Lifecyle Management and SAP Global Master Data Systems. They need to ensure specifications are written in accordance with agreed quality standards and regulatory guidelines for Ingredients Formulas Packaging and Finished Goods. They partner with Formulation Packaging Process Engineering Analytical Microbiology Regulatory Planners Supply Chain and Suppliers to deliver accurate Specifications On Time and In Full. The Research and Development Specification Management Scientist for Personal Care will be responsible for the creation delivery and maintenance of specifications and technical information for a subset of the North America portfolio.
What Youll Do
The Technical Activation Scientist role is accountable being a key partner within R&D/CTI & the NA BU Demand Creation Brand Leads for Brand Content Experience and Social for Powerbands in NA.
The SMT scientist role will be responsible for the North America Specification Management supporting innovation projects cost transformation initiatives data quality regulatory concerns among other things. The scientist will work cross functionally to input into networks get data from various sources build specifications for your portfolio and keep cross functional team updated. You should have a strong appreciation of how SMT fits into the Unilever innovation process and will gain understanding of others roles in the process. As an SMT member you will become a superuser for relevant systems helping with training change requests and user acceptance testing. You know there is always a way we can improve systems and ways of working. You are a leader. You are a dot connector. You are a changemaker.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $69360 to $104040.
