Job Description
Purpose of the Programme
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Work Experience program at Ocorian. This is an excellent opportunity for school-aged students looking to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. As a Work Experience Intern you will gain insight into our business operations and form an understanding of how our teams deliver for our customers.
Work Experience will be 1 day - 4 weeks in length so please advise your preference on application.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations across various departments including HR Operations Finance Fund administration Corporate Services and Compliance.
- Support team members in preparing and organizing documentation for client meetings and presentations.
- Conduct research and analysis to assist in project development and client reporting.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of the financial services industry.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications :
- Considering pursuing a degree in Finance Business Administration Economics Accounting or a related field. Or currently at school leaver level and thinking of a career in Financial Services
- Strong interest in financial services and a desire to learn more about the industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) particularly Excel (preferably having worked with Pivot Tables and V Lookups)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
YOU MUST HAVE RIGHT TO WORK IN LUXEMBOURG. YOU CANNOT BE GRADUATE OR UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL. WORK EXPERIENCE IS AIMED AT A MORE JUNIOR COHORT.
