Job Description
The Global Tire Logistics - Warehousing & Distribution department at our site in Hanover-Stcken is responsible for the tactical and strategic organisation of global tire logistics.
In this exciting environment we are offering a (mandatory) internship starting in September 2025 to support us with our various projects and day-to-day operations. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internship is possible. For the best possible learning experience the internship should last between 4 to 6 months. Following the internship writing a thesis is an option but not guaranteed.
Your tasks include:
- Contributing to global process optimization and automation projects in the areas of warehouse and supply chain
- Support international tender processes
- Implement update and analyze supply chain reports
- Assisting in the implementation of logistics quality requirements and various quality initiatives within warehouse operations
- Support internal logistics audits according international standards
- Data collection in collaboration with international teams
- Creation and presentation of management-ready documents
Qualifications :
- Students (m/f/diverse) in the fields of business administration industrial engineering economics or comparable study programs
- Ideally with a focus/ specialization in logistics supply chain and/or transportation
- Basic practical experience in logistics
- Confident handling of MS Office-programs (esp. Excel PowerPoint)
- Good German and very good English language skills both written and spoken
- Analytical thinking and strong numerical skills
- Independent working style high level of commitment flexibility and creativity
- strong team organizational and communication skills
