Job Description

Were looking for a sharp organized and story-driven Script Coordinator to join our growing YouTube team. Youll play a key role in shaping the voice and clarity of our video content by researching drafting and refining scripts that help aspiring business owners navigate their entrepreneurial journey. This role sits at the intersection of content development and production and is ideal for someone who loves crafting compelling narratives and collaborating with talent to bring their ideas to life.

As the Script Coordinator youll be responsible for managing the end-to-end scripting process: from deep research and ideation to final drafts ready for filming. Youll work closely with our Channel Manager and on-camera talent to ensure every video is informative engaging and aligned with our channels strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write informative engaging and well-structured scripts for weekly YouTube videos
  • Collaborate with on-camera talent and the Channel Manager to align scripts with overall content strategy and channel goals
  • Work directly with on-camera talent to revise and refine scripts for tone clarity and delivery
  • Ensure all scripts are accurate audience-appropriate and backed by credible sources when needed
  • Maintain and manage a script calendar to ensure timely delivery and production readiness
  • Adapt content tone and format based on audience feedback analytics and platform best practices
  • Stay current on YouTube trends and successful storytelling formats particularly in the business and educational content space
  • Assist in brainstorming new video topics and content angles in collaboration with the broader creative team
     

Experience:

  • 24 years of experience in scriptwriting content writing or editorial production (ideally for digital video or YouTube)
  • Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex topics into clear digestible narratives
  • Experience working with on-camera talent or hosts to shape dialogue and delivery
  • Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with a strong sense of tone and voice
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple scripts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Familiarity with YouTube content formats pacing and audience expectations is a strong plus
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to take and incorporate feedback quickly and thoughtfully
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
