JOB SUMMARY
Provide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery and facility for a 24 hr. / 7-day
manufacturing operation. Additionally performs the duties of Facilities Support as required.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Support: Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor. Train production technicians in the proper set-up and copy troubleshooting techniques. Provide training and assistance to production technicians as needed to help maximize production output and minimize downtime through the utilization of proper production techniques and handling practices. 30%
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Effectively diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems i assigned area (facility machinery equipment etc.) Make timely and accurate repairs as necessary during production Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair modification and maintenance of equipment. 30%
- Preventative Maintenance: Inspect machinery for potential problems on a daily basis. Documents problems and schedules work/repairs as appropriate. Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. These activities will be recorded using proper PM sheets. 30%
- Housekeeping/Other: Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up machine and equipment clean-up sweeping up after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned. 5%
- Administrative: Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory. Inform Supervisor of parts and equipment used from inventory. Record maintenance activities using the proper computer application or paperwork. Other duties as assigned. 5%
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 1 year related mechanical experience.
Additional Information :
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $17.40 - $24.90/ hour. Starting pay decisions
are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications
skills experience certifications proficiency performance shift location and other business
needs. Typically roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on
the role in addition to the hourly rate of pay the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and/or stand-by pay. RRDs benefit offerings include
