Job Description

Team Summary:

The team is responsible for managing a key Global Client with a primary focus on driving strategic growth in the Asia Pacific region. Team members are based in both Singapore and Hong Kong collaborating globally with counterparts based in London. They work closely with the client and Visa partners across various markets and functional teams.

What a Manager Account Executive does at Visa:

This role based in Hong Kong reports to the Senior Director of Global Clients and supports the Global Clients Account team. The Business Development Manager will work closely with both Visa and client partners focusing on key operational responsibilities in account management. The role is responsible for implementing business development strategies aimed at:

  • Increasing revenues
  • Boosting payment volume
  • Enhancing client satisfaction ratings


Key responsibilities include:

Support Visas Strategic Implementation: Assist in executing Visas regional and functional strategies ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Relationship Management: Support the senior business team in managing existing account initiatives and opportunities ensuring Visa remains the association of choice and securing a larger share of business.

Coordination Across Functional Areas: Coordinate Visas support and services across various functional areas including client services brand/marketing acceptance risk and product management to deliver added value to client banks.

Mandate and Operational Account Support: Manage mandates and provide operational support for accounts ensuring seamless execution of Visas strategic initiatives.

Deal Operations Execution: Work closely with global clients and the finance team to monitor and report on deal performance including incentive and revenue drivers. Manage deal investment requests business case approvals and the tracking and allocation of incentives in collaboration with country regional and global accounts teams.

Planning and Forecasting: Manage the annual planning process along with quarterly and AOP forecasting efforts. Collaborate with country teams to ensure forecast assumptions and accuracy.

Reporting Management: Oversee the preparation and dissemination of monthly and quarterly client reports to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.

Account Team Blackbelt (MS Dynamics): Serve as a blackbelt for the account team working with cross-functional partners to ensure account plans are current and all initiatives opportunities and meeting reports are updated and reflected in the Playbook.

Knowledge of payment landscape trends innovations and competitive landscape in payments and taking a consultative sales approach to deliver client centric solutions and operational efficiency.

 

 


Qualifications :

Bachelors degree preferably in Business Management
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively with diverse teams across geographies and levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High learning agility
Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint Excel Word and Outlook)

Interest and experience in Deal structuring negotiation documentation and execution
Good business acumen and analytical skills

Requires being data-savvy with strong skills in reporting creating dashboards and effectively interpreting data insights.
Knowledge of payments systems and the cards industry

Account management skills
Strong presentation interpersonal and communication skills
A strong background in analytics and the ability to interpret data trends into business justification and opportunities
Good business consultation and influencing skills
Proficient in MS Office with good PC knowledge
Resourceful (ability to leverage own network to look for information and solutions)

Knowledge of the payments space and business models
Experience in sales/business development/account management
Result orientated team player
Flexibility and openness in terms of attitude and workload will be a crucial attribute
Positive enthusiasm but with an understanding of the business context is an important characteristic
