Actively up-sells to maximize revenue opportunities. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer & guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience. Provides service to customers to continue to grow the account.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales goals be creative a problem solver has a proven record of being a team player is open to learning and leading by example responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team.

  • You will engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • Prepare and execute sales contracts event orders group resumes to ensure quality product delivery and customersatisfaction
  • Coordinateall function details with clients to include but not limited to space requirements meeting times equipment menus billingetc
  • You will navigate clients through the sales process including qualifying negotiating closing and detailing group and/or cateringleads

  • You will develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to become a key advisor to them for booking meetings and events

What do we look for in someone to be successful in this role

  • 1-2 years of experience in Event Services Banquet Hotel Sales Marketing or equivalent education and experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalentor 2 years of college or 2 years in a sales& marketing front office or other supervisory position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with DelphiFDC and/or Marriott CI/TY
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
