Job Description
Platinum Locating Services specialise in providing utility location and mapping of underground services to construction contractors and utility asset owners in Perth Western Australia.
Due to ongoing growth and significant new projects our organisation is actively searching for NDD vacuum excavation operators / Utility Locator Trainees to join our team.
Any of the outlined areas below would be highly advantageous:
Your Qualifications & experience will include:
- HR License *essential*
- White card
- Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) & EML
- Reading and understanding Dial Before You Dig plans
- Ability to produce utility mapping plans
- Ability to liaise with customers on the ground
- Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Willingness to work in a team and on your own
- Willingness to learn new skills;
- A positive and professional attitude to work and safety.
- Good administrative and computer/skills
- Experience in operating vacuum units
Requirements
Construction experience
Must have a Current Australian drivers licence
Must undergo a pre-medical employmen
Desirable Qualifications:
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Dial before you Dig (DBYD) asset locator accreditation and or
- Current RIICCM202D Identify locate and protect underground services
- Western Power Network Authority Card
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
