Position: Assistant Event Coordinator
Location: Austin TX
Salary: $800 - $1195 per week
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role you will play a vital part in the planning execution and management of a wide array of events ranging from corporate functions to social gatherings and community initiatives. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring each event is executed smoothly and that all attendees have an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings conferences and social gatherings.
- Coordinate with vendors venues and other stakeholders to secure necessary services and supplies.
- Help develop and maintain event timelines ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Support budget management by tracking expenses and obtaining quotes from vendors.
- Assist in the design and distribution of event marketing materials both online and offline.
- Provide on-site support during events including setup management and breakdown processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination preferably in a professional setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using event management software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
