Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent to support the Vertical Lift International team in Ridley Park PA!

As an Experienced Procurement Agent you will create and manage major supplier purchase contracts in support of BDS Programs. Candidates should have experience with the entire procurement life cycle to include developing Supplier Buy to Packages Requests for Proposal evaluating bids creating and issuance of Purchase Contracts and pre/post award contract administration through closeout.

Overall this position requires an individual who can manage multiple subcontracts expeditiously while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. Additional responsibilities could include issuance and administration of Teaming Agreements Proprietary Information Agreements New Business and Proposal Support.

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time including international travel based on business needs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance

Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions

Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements

Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions

Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues

Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities

Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

5 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes

5 years of experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

5 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelors degree or higher

Experience working on government proposals to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

3 or more years of experience participating in the acquisition process for both international and U.S. defense equipment including the planning budgeting and procurement of defense material

5 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers

5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
