Job Description
As required by our governmental client this position requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen.
A Clinical Informaticist I supports enterprise clinical information systems to enhance cost-effective high-quality efficient and safe patient care. They assist physicians nurses and other clinicians in resolving issues related to electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical applications.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Clinical Informaticist I:$70k- $74k
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as are subject to change with or without notice.
Clinical Informaticist I Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and optimize clinical information systems to ensure they support patient care.
- Provide support to physicians nurses and other clinicians in resolving issues related to the electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical applications.
- Implement and manage systems to enhance the efficiency quality and safety of patient care.
- Oversee the use and functionality of clinical applications to ensure they meet user needs.
- Conduct training sessions for clinicians on the use of EHR and other clinical systems.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Clinical Informaticist I Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Bachelors degree in health informatics Information Technology Nursing or a related field.
- Ensure clinical information systems are properly maintained and optimized for user efficiency.
- Provide prompt and effective support for clinicians experiencing issues with EHR and other clinical applications.
- Work closely with IT clinical staff and other stakeholders to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Assist in the implementation of new clinical information systems and upgrades.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing data and insights from clinical information systems.
- Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
