Job Description
Boscovs Human Resources Coordinator
Experienced Human Resources Coordinators- Use your HR background to launch an exciting career in retail with one of the nations leading retailers! We are looking for an HR Coordinatorwho is comfortable and capable of working independently in our busy HR office to join our today!
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with managing the functions of the Human Resources Office under the guidance and direction of the HR Manager.
- Recruitment: Participate in the process of reviewing resumes/applications completing initial candidate screenings and scheduling interviews. Assist with the onboarding processes for new hires.
- Benefits Administration: Follow-up with new hires to collect appropriate benefits paperwork and submit to Corporate office for processing.
- Timekeeping System: Complete entry of schedules into timekeeping system. Maintenance and approval of timecards for a weekly payroll processing. Produce reports for Store Management to ensure adherence to payroll budgets.
- Coworker Support: Intake of coworker questions/concern for resolution by the HR Manager. Coordinate schedules to allow for coworkers to meet with HR Manager during onsite time via phone or virtually.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degreepreferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- 2 to 4 years Human Resources Coordinator or similar experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn HR computer systems and other store systems
- Schedule for the position will be 28 hours per week including weekends.
