This role sits within the Customer Transformation Office (CTO) of the Commercial Bank. This team leads the delivery for some of the highest priority initiatives across the Commercial Bank. In this exciting role you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and amplify the divisions most impactful work solve complex problems from our distinct vantage point all while balancing strategy and tactics. Our project work runs the gamut some examples are: launching new products leading updates to existing products and features or leading foundational initiatives that enable growth.
General Responsibilities:
Manage and support cross-functional stakeholders at different levels as they navigate through the Commercial Front Door (CFD) project intake prioritization and program governance processes. This encompasses ensuring the clarity of the scope of deliverables timelines resourcing and budgets meet CFD requirements and identifying risks & issues to mitigate and / or escalate as needed
Leverage problem solving skills to ensure CFD participants deliver on intent and maintain key project governance documentation
Participate and sometimes lead regular meetings supporting CFD routines
Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or military experience
At least 3 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Business Administration
4 years of Project Management experience
PMP Lean Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $117300 - $133900 for Principal Project ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
