MMS Group is seeking an experienced Temporary Porter/Groundskeeper for a 173-unit residential property located in Astoria NY.

Your duties and responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning of all common areas; dust sweep wet mop vacuum and empty garbage
- Report all notable concerns such as vandalism missing light bulbs or fixtures and missing smoke detectors or extinguishers in the common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Keep the property and parking lots in a neat and orderly manner; check property throughout the day
- Other duties associated with the maintenance of the grounds as assigned by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

- Have previous experience with porter/housekeeper/custodial/gardening/groundskeeping duties
- Have effective communication and problem-solving skills
Job must-haves:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting bending kneeling stooping climbing balancing and carrying
- Adherence to work-safety and risk management programs
- Professional and reliable
