Job Description

DO NOT APPLY ON SCHOOLSPRINGPlease apply at enrollment 700 grades 6-12Salary range: $120000 to $130000Job Summary-Serve as the educational leader of the school responsible for overseeing all academic and administrative functions to ensure a safe productive learning environment implementing education policies managing staff and maintaining relationships with students parents and the -Masters Degree in Education School Administration or related degree-New Hampshire License as a Principal-Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience which encompasses teaching and educational leadership that is comparable to the responsibilities of a principal.-Must pass a background SuperintendentSupervises-All educators and staff-Associate Principal-Assistant PrincipalsPerformance ResponsibilitiesSetting Direction-Develop and implement a clear vision and plan for the school that aligns with district goals.-Understand the strengths and needs of the school and develops and inform the school improvement planning process.-Build consensus around the school improvement plan.-Clearly communicates the roles and responsibilities to staff in order to mee the school improvement goals.-Establish a sense of shared purpose.-Lead and motivate staff to achieve educational excellence.-Foster a positive school culture that promotes continuous improvement and high student Relationships and Developing People-Consistently visible and approachable within the school.-Encourage all staff to see themselves as leaders with an important role to play in school and student success.-Appreciate respect and affirm others.-Demonstrate proficiency in conflict resolution and the Organization-Build a collaborative learning culture within the school and actively engage to build effective learning communities.-Foster a changing culture in the school and within the system.-Foster growth and development in self and others.-Develop the leadership capacity of the Instructional Program-Foster professional ethical learning communities.-Demonstrate a deep knowledge of teaching and learning processes.-Empower teachers and support staff to become instructional leaders.-Engage families and communities in supporting student Accountability-Take responsibility and is accountable for the goals set out in the school improvement plan.-Manage day-to-day operational tasks and processes to ensure optimal school functioning.-Manage the school budget procedure.-Demonstrate reflective practices as a Responsibilities-Regularly seek out and identify high-quality opportunities to grow and learn identifying problems of practice or areas of inquiry that inform individual and collaborative learning opportunities.-Exhibit high standards of ethical practice and wise decision making on behalf of students families and staff.-Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the to:-Ed. 510: Code of Conduct for New Hampshire Educators-Guiding Principles: The Code of Ethics for New Hampshire Educators-All district school board policies and procedures-All district handbooksSkills and AbilitiesThis position requires:-Ability to accept feedback-Independent learner-Dependability-Concern for others-Self-control-Adaptability/flexibility-Integrity-Initiative-Cooperation-Persistence-Innovation-Analytical thinking-Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships-Updating and using relevant knowledge-Making decisions and solving problems-Thinking creatively-Communicating with supervisors colleagues families community and students-Developing and building teams-Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others-Analyzing data or information-Performing administrative activities such as paperworkTechnology Skills-Electronic mail software-Multimedia educational software-Google applicationsPhysical Demands-Reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate computers hand-held learning devices and other office equipment.-Regularly required to sit stand walk talk and hear.-Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.-Exposure to a variety of childhood and adult diseases and illnesses.-Occasional exposure to various weather conditions.-Exposure to a range of heating air conditioning and ventilation conditions.-Function in a workplace that is usually moderately quiet but can be noisy at of Employment-Benefits and Wages as outlined in the Teamsters Local 633 Administrator Collective Bargaining Agreement.-Exempt from overtime pay-On-site it may require attendance at school events meetings and other activities outside of normal school hours.-Full-time
