Your Role at Baxter

The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory levels ensuring efficient operations and contributing to cost- effective inventory management strategies.

Your Team

Clevelands technology and automation is innovative. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles glass IV and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling injection molding tubing extrusion and device assembly.

What youll be doing:

  • Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to resolve inventory issues.
  • Direct Inventory Handling: Manage the physical handling of inventory including receiving storing and shipping products. Ensure that inventory is organized and accessible adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • ERP System Utilization: Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels manage stock movements and generate reports. Ensure that all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
  • Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis reporting and maintaining inventory records. Create and manage spreadsheets/use of the ERP system to track inventory metrics and performance. Use of outlook Teams and other applications with the Microsoft environment.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports to management on inventory performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing logistics facilities maintenance teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment of stock. Communicate effectively to resolve any inventory-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for inventory control processes including optimizing storage solutions and reducing excess inventory.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management. Promote a culture of safety and efficiency within the warehouse environment.

What youll bring

  • High School or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control materials management or related role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management data analysis tools ERP system.
  • Computer literacy
  • Microsoft literacy
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift driving experience
  • Attention to details and accuracy.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP would be a plus.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $41600 - $57200 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors.
