The Production Supervisor is responsible for accountable for every aspect of the manufacturing area - from hiring training developing and managing the people developing and executing the plan implementing and improving the processes to maximizing performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs including Safety Quality Delivery and Cost). The typical hours for this for position are Monday - Friday 2pm-10:30pm.

This position reports to the Value Stream Lead and is part of the production operations department located in Duncan SC and will be an onsite role.

What youll do:

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of the associates on the production areas.
• Develop and uphold performance metrics for all areas of responsibility. Guide teams in attaining Value Stream Site-specific and Corporate KPIs and foster continuous improvement by implementing Danaher Business System tools.
• Confirm quality is evident in daily work delivering high quality product that meets all customer and quality specifications. Ensure the team works according to regulatory guidelines - providing coaching as necessary to earn and retain ISO and other regulatory certifications Timecards and hourly employees
• Integrating cross-functional resources to modernize facilities equipment and material flow operations is imperative to enhance capacity efficiency and profitability and Engage with the leadership of business units to formulate plans and strategies for enhancing the safety quality delivery inventory and productivity (SQDIP) performance of the designated Value Stream(s).
• Accountable for daily schedule meeting rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) requirements. Problem solves for OTD misses owning or assisting from problem definition root cause investigation try storming countermeasures through sustaining countermeasures

Who you are:

• Bachelors degree OR equivalent experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing leadership experience including involvement and knowledge of operations supply chain planning receiving shipping and material flow
• Basic knowledge of inventory control in an operations/manufacturing environment and familiarity with lean principles (such as Daily Management Value Stream Mapping SMED Standard Work etc.)
• Computer literacy MS Office (Outlook Excel etc.) & ERP Systems (SAP a plus)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience leading high performance teams in a regulated environment (ISO FDA or otherwise)
• Knowledge of business systems engineering manufacturing and financial systems
• Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and provides focus to team to ensure alignment on the critical few
