The Richmond & Henrico Health Districts are seeking a Program Support Technician Senior. PST Seniors independently perform technical office tasks in support of one or more programs continuously applying policy and procedures. Characteristic duties: serve as an expert contact and information resource for one or more programs; perform the most complex tasks for program services available in a health department or district; provide information to promote access to other services; serve as lead worker to direct advise and train others; design and direct workflow processes; research and processes claims; gather data and collect and prepare reports on program activities; develop promote and coordinate program activities; and may provide financial/procurement support as requested.

This PST Senior position will mainly support the District COO but may also be required to provide support to other members of the management team to ensure efficient and effective operations. This PST Senior will primarily work out of our Henrico County (West) Office (8600 Dixon Powers Drive) although will occasionally be expected to work from our Richmond City Office (400 East Cary St) as needed. Mileage reimbursement is available for any work-related travel. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of program operations services policies and procedures.
Ability to serve as an expert resource providing accurate information and resolving inquiries.
Experience in designing and directing workflow processes to enhance program efficiency.
Ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations policies and procedures.
Proficient in collecting entering and reviewing data for discrepancies.
Ability to maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Ability to generate reports and interpret data to inform program activities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and experience with software applications and Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word Excel and database entry) and general office equipment.
Additional Considerations
2 to 3 years experience with project management to include process improvement
