Job Title:Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) School CoordinatorLocation:Assigned SchoolJob Group:Non-UnionPay Level:Stipend Reports To:Director of Learning/PrincipalSummary: Under the Direction of the Principal helps to implement and sustain a school-based Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program. Provides training support assistance and guidance to teachers and staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates the PBIS efforts of the school by:Assisting in the organization of team meetings are scheduled and take new teachers with the Professional Support through such activities as:Regularly communicating with the school leadership team and community stakeholders (e.g. faculty students staff parents and community members.)Answering questions; providing information about PBIS and providing collegial and demonstrates effective fluency with PBIS features (i.e.: systems data and practices)Attends regional coordinator meetings and training reports promotes shapes and reinforces school team progress and Work Responsibilities: The ability to lead and work with others in a collaborative team environment is essential to the employees successful job performance. Time Commitment: Ability to commit the time necessary for sustaining a successful PBIS program including informal meetings and scheduled monthly/quarterly group meetings.
