Job Description
Position Summary:
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring component installation hand soldering and cable harnessing on mechanical assembly of units.
Electro-mechanical assembly of electronic camera related products including engineering prototypes pre-production and production assemblies. Work Environment is Manufacturing/Assembly environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building an extensive variety of cameras including sub-assembly assembly prototype inspection modifications upgrades and rework /
- Assemble mechanical products in accordance with manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions travelers configuration logs etc)
- Verify kits and parts are complete and correct
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering in the creation development and revision of assembly documentation as required
- Some low-level testing maybe required.
- Verify accuracy of finished assemblies and data to provide quality output
- Process assembly using a variety of materials (adhesives coatings epoxies etc)
Position Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail is required to ensure conscientiousness related to the quality of work to ensure that assemblies are completed with precision accuracy thoroughness and orderliness.
- Collaboration & Teamwork required to successfully interface with team members to maximize team efforts and productivity.
- Communication Skills-Oral Listening & Written are required to communicate effectively with members of the Test Team Manufacturing and Engineering departments.
- Initiative: Displays strong personal initiative and motivation to achieve desired performance results with minimal direction or supervision.
- Continuous Learning required in order staying abreast of new assembly approaches tools and methodologies.
- Flexibility is required to quickly adapt to changing requirements and workload re-prioritization.
Knowledge and Experience in the following are desired:
- Hand soldering
- Ability to work from written instructions wiring diagrams etc.
- Assembly of electro-mechanical components with related tooling
- Harness wiring
- ISO policies and procedures
- ESD procedures
- Manual dexterity ability to work with small parts for extended amounts of time
- Mechanical Assembly
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
Salary Range:
$37200.00-$49600.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
