The Boeing CompanyBoeing is seeking talented Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Experienced Senior Lead) to join our team on a new program in Albuquerque NM developing and testing advanced concepts for the Department of Defense. This position will include work in mechanical design for optical systems thermal analyses structural analyses and integration of subsystems. The ideal candidate will have experience with SolidWorks NX or other CAD software and Finite Element Analysis.

Position Responsibilities:
Designs mechanical systems to meet system requirements.
Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment.
Supports the development maintenance or modification of system designs to provide design documentation and high-level requirements
Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems.
Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
3 years of experience working with finite element models / simulations using one or more of the following: PATRAN NASTRAN ABAQUS ANSYS Hypermesh LS-Dyna Optistruct
3 years of experience do you have in using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to design Mechanical components
3 years of experience assembling repairing and testing mechanical and electrical components and systems
3 years of experience with structural design or the design of mechanical sub-systems or components
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Active Top Secret Clearance
3 years of experience working with computer aided design such as CATIA Solidworks or Siemens NX
3 years of experience with optical mount design

Summary pay range (experienced level 3): $95200 - $128800
Summary pay range (senior level 4): $115600 - $156400
Summary pay range (lead level 5): $136850 - $185150
