The team is seeking a motivated engineer to contribute to the calibration and development of on-board diagnostics (OBD) for heavy-duty engines. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced technically advanced environment supporting both testing and development of OBD systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cells
Execute test procedures efficiently and accurately
Review test data to ensure reliability and consistency
Calibrate OBD functions for aftertreatment systems including catalysts filters and sensors
Analyze data from trucks test cells and other sources to verify OBD monitor performance and robustness
Plan conduct and interpret results of development and verification testing
Innovate diagnostic algorithms aligned with future CARB and EPA regulations
Apply advanced analytical methods to support monitor testing and design
Prepare and present technical reports (written and oral)
Qualifications :
25 years of experience in engine or aftertreatment calibration
Strong knowledge of OBD systems and diagnostic strategies
Experience with heavy-duty engine testing and data analysis
Familiarity with EPA and CARB emissions regulations
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
