Toyotas Production Control Dept is looking for a passionate self-motivated and highly organized Production Planner.
This roles primary responsibility is Volume Planning for Production and reports to the Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (TMMWV) Management and Executive Team. The person in this role will support campus objectives to achieve key goals and KPIs related to Volume Planning. This person will work to lead/facilitate working groups to achieve requirements.
What youll be doing
Support any or all activities related to production planning production lines.
Create daily weekly monthly production planning requirements for production lines
Track data and progress of component parts and finished product to ensure Customer orders are achieved.
Build and maintain relationships with TMNA DSM (Demand Supply Management) for optimized production plan development and good information flow.
Working with / lead production quality PE groups to solve operational issues
Coordinate activity within PC and across departments for daily operational issues
Troubleshoot shipment/production/parts problems and provide appropriate countermeasures
Work with plant departments to resolve issues related to project delays or problems
Build out of engines & transmissions Scope depends on size of project (from 1 Engine/AT type to complete model change)
Project management Coordinate activity within PC and across departments for project activity small and large.
Advanced Excel Skills.
Proven inventory management knowledge/skill
Support PC and TMMWV hoshin
What you bring
Prior professional experience coordinating cross-functional projects with a demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs
Self-driven independent work experience effectively managing multiple short- and long-term tasks simultaneously
Proven problem solving and process improvement experience (writing samples/examples of process improvement initiatives would be great to attach along with resume but not required)
Professional experience working in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication (verbal and written) ability to deliver information clearly to stakeholders and executives
Added bonus if you have
Prior professional experience in Production Planning
Prior work experience at Toyota
Completion of TBP (Toyota Business Practice) through report out
Bachelors Degree Potential major(s) Industrial Engineering Business Administration Logistics or similar
