Job Description
THE POSITION
If you have a passion for outdoor work and enjoy a hands-on job consider becoming part of the Ohiopyle State Park team within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. In this role you will engage in essential maintenance of district roads trails and facilities allowing you to take pride in serving the public. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will engage in semi-skilled tasks independently support a skilled tradesperson or lead a small team of manual laborers in carrying out routine activities. The role requires the use of various construction groundskeeping and maintenance tools often necessitating the application of skills learned on the job. You will perform minor repairs and routine groundskeeping and custodial tasks with a significant degree of autonomy with your work being reviewed upon completion. More complex construction or repair tasks will be carried out under the supervision of a skilled trades worker or a supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal full-time position with no healthcare benefits.
- The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment March 2026.
- Shifts and days will vary with a 30-minute lunch and will include holidays and weekends.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
