Job Description
Job Summary
Provides financial planning and analysis support to Corewell Health Corporate service lines. Interacts with various levels of leadership as a financial partner and provides guidance and expertise to assist in meeting financial goals.
Essential Functions
Develops accurate and timely analysis of departmental margins.
Engages in review of monthly operational results with leaders.
Consults with Operations Management and or System Financial Reporting team on accounting and finance related matters.
Collaborates with operations to develop the annual plan and periodic financial forecasts.
Prepares variance analyses and investigates reasons for major variances develops and presents potential solutions.
Provides guidance on business issues including financial analysis profitability analysis and outside business ventures.
Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity creativity and innovation.
Prepares financial pro forma and business plans for capital and operational investments.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration economics statistics or related field
3 years of relevant experience in finance accounting or related work
Preferred
Masters degree in business or finance
Certified Public Accounting license
Formal or informal leadership experience
