GJA/25; Security I - Temporary Part Time
NOTE: The work hours for this position:
Fridays noon to 8pm - 8 hours
Saturdays noon to 8pm - 8 hours
Sundays noon to 8pm - 8 hours
Total hours - 24 hours
Must have a valid State of Colorado drivers license to independently drive the patrol car around the campus. Must submit to and successfully complete a pre-employment background check to include a motor vehicle report (MVR) as a condition of hire. Felony convictions or conviction of crimes of moral turpitude or convictions of misdemeanors related to job duties may disqualify you from consideration for this position. Should your background check reveal any charges and convictions it is your responsibility to provide CCCS Office of Human Resources with an official disposition of the charges. Campus is patrolled 24 hours a day so position must be willing to work other shifts if requested along with carrying a cell phone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience and ability to work with diverse groups of people
Understand and determine appropriate rules and regulations from various sources
Currently certified in First Aid and CPR
At least one year prior experience providing security service of buildings and grounds
Attention to detail
Minimum of twenty-one years of age
Former employees of the Colorado Community College System or one of its 13 colleges who were disciplinary terminated or resigned in lieu of termination must disclose this information on your completed application.
