Job Description
Position Title: Human Resources Intern
Location: Addison TX (On-Site)
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Director
Position Summary:
Thrust Flight is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative tasks and coordination activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in various HR functions and the opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic flight training organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage employee uniform inventory and distribution
- Assist with pre-employment processes including background checks and preparation of orientation packets
- Support onboarding of new Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) including creation of folders name tags shirt distribution system logins and ID photos
- Help prepare payroll-related items such as birthday/anniversary bonuses Employee of the Month recognition and flight instructor bonuses
- Track and reconcile company credit card expenses
- Act as the building liaison for facilities-related matters
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Conduct regular mail runs and ensure timely distribution
- Perform other administrative or HR-related duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
