2025-2026 School Year

Certified Substitute Teachers Current Former or Retired Teachers are individuals who have been hired as certified employees (current or former) with Lincoln Public Schools.

This application does not require transcripts or retaking the Gallup survey as part of the application process.

Substitute teachers are those who hold a bachelor degree (or higher) in education

Requires Nebraska Teaching or State Substitute certificate
Daily rate of pay for full day is $192.12
Daily rate of pay for half day is $96.05
Applicants who do NOT hold a degree in education apply for the Certified Local Substitute Teacher 2025-2026 application.
