SUMMARY:The assistant principal provides support to the principal and the instructional process with specific responsibility for directing assigned programs and services. The assistant principal serves as a resource to others; supervises assigned staff; coordinates school activities and addresses issues situations and/or problems that arise on campus or with enrolled students. The assistant principal will complete all assigned duties within compliance and instructions of the principal superintendent assistant superintendent Board of Education pertinent laws state and federal regulations and district policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The performance responsibilities of this position may include but not be limited to the following:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:Masters degree; minimum of three years experience as a classroom teacher and/or in an instructional leadership role; valid Arkansas building level administrator license.
Attendance:
Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period and to be physically present and at assigned work with only infrequent unexcused absences during the contract year.
