Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Analyst to support the BDS Supply Chain Planning team in Berkeley MO!
The Associate Procurement Analyst will assist with support for supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance in a defined commodity area. Strong communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this role
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
- Measures key performance indicators
- Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources
- Prepares reports
- Reviews procurement/planning systems
- Reviews schedules creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities
- Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation
- Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
- Communicates project objectives and activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience supporting internal customers
- Experience supporting both internal and external customers across multiple disciplines
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint
- More than 1 year of experience working with analytics data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
- Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- More than 1 year of experience with Supply Chain Planning
- More than 1 experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances
