Job Description
We are currently assisting a public accounting firm based in South Edmonton with their Accountant role. This is a full-time permanent onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Production of financial reports
- In-depth financial analysis cash flow management
- Accurate and timely preparation of personal and corporate taxes
- Preparation of Notice to Readers and compilation engagements
- Participate in audit and review engagements
- Providing assessment and consultative advice on financial and like matters
- Assist with full-cycle accounting duties including accounts payables and receivables account and credit card reconciliations posting of journal entries as well as working closely with the General Ledger
- Additional duties assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 6 monthof experience with public accounting
- CPA is desirable
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills self-starter collaborative
- Experience with Casefair is an asset
