Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a member of the global software development team this role will be to enhance maintain and support the Companys in-house electronic trading system.

As a member of the global software development team this role will be to enhance maintain and support the Companys in-house electronic trading system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To enhance maintain and support the in-house trading platform
- Collaborate and engage with fellow team members including Traders Quants and Infrastructure personnel
- Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure low-latency/scalable/efficient/reliable solutions
Essential
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering and equivalent work experience.
- Strong demonstrable skills and track record in programming C
- Strong demonstrable skills and track record in developing on a Linux/gcc platform
- Experience with profiling/optimising software algorithms
- Experience with network programming multithreaded programming inter-process communications
- Experience with distributed architecture systems
- Team-player with a personable and friendly approach
- Strong problem solving skills with a keen eye for details
- Self-motivated and creative with a drive to deliver high-quality code
- Ability to deliver on time
- Financial experience: market feeds and order execution APIs derivatives trading
- Software programming experience in C and Python
- Messaging middleware experience
- Specialist in low latency solutions
