Job Description

Infosys is seeking an Azure and Databricks Cloud Data Engineer. In this role you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model research on technologies independently recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidate must live within commuting distance ofRaleigh NCor be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required.
  • At least 4years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong hands-on experience withAzure Data Factory (ADF)andAzure Databricks.
  • Proficiency inPySparkSQL andPython.
  • Experience withDelta LakeAzure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) andAzure Synapse.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines using ADF and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with offshore analysts developers cross functional teams and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance scalability and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality governance and security best practices are followed.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and developers.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
  • Timely recommendation for any improvement for continuous improvements.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
