Southwestern Healthcare Inc. and its affiliate corporations are the largest providers of community-based behavioral healthcare in Southwestern Indiana offering a full range of mental health and addictions treatment and related educational services.

We are seeking a full-time Facilities Supervisortojoin our Facilities Department.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supervise supportand assistmaintenance staff.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the technology and resources needed to meet facility needs.
  • Develop and monitor the schedule of facility-related activities including preventive maintenance new equipment and renovations needs (roof HVAC flooring replacement parking lots etc.).
  • Conduct regular walk-throughof every location.
  • Coordinate and assist with general remodeling projects as assigned.
  • Maintain maintenance records and logs.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for all state federal and insurance inspections.
  • As necessary respond to facilities on-call emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
  • Participate in anon-call rotation schedule.
  • Operate in accordance with all Southwestern policy and procedures OSHA federal state and local standards and regulations.
  • Develop training for maintenance staff as appropriate for their job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safety precautions.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication with all teams across the organizations.
  • Assist Facilities Directorin project planning.
  • In the absence of the Facilities Director serve as backup.

WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years previous related work experience and/or training.
  • Previous supervision experience is required.
  • Must be able to conceptualize ideas and effectively problem solve.
  • Knowledge of trade fundamentals building codes standards and regulations.
  • Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Must have valid drivers license and qualify for Southwesterns vehicle liability insurance
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
