Job Description
We are looking for a full-timeMaintenance Technician position to repair and maintain commercial building in Downtown Oahu. Candidates must have a valid drivers license reliable vehicle previous hands-on maintenance experience light plumbing electricalHVAC carpentry and painting experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.
- Able to lift push pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs. Walk stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Work in tight spaces and unconditioned environments to perform maintenance tasks
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid driver license and a reliable vehicle
- Customer service oriented
- General Maintenance experience
- Basic mathematics
- Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and improve
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm; 12pm-8:30pm rotating schedule (40 hours a week)
Compensation range:$23/per hour
